One hour a week at the house on Fatherland Street. Beginners are welcome and are honestly my favourite students because nothing has to be untaught. You need your own instrument, a beat up student model is completely fine, and you need to be able to come weekly and put in real time between lessons. We work on right hand blocking first because everything else falls apart without it, then pedal and knee lever combinations, then the volume pedal, then reading. I teach out of songs rather than exercises wherever possible. In person only. I know that is inconvenient and I know everyone else offers video lessons. You cannot learn a volume pedal through a screen. I have tried to teach it that way and I was not good at it and neither were my students. Forty an hour, and if that is a genuine problem tell me and we will work something out, because two of the people who taught me did exactly that.
