A five frame nucleus colony from my own Carniolan survivor stock, ready for pickup in Asheville from mid April. Three frames of brood in all stages, one frame of honey and pollen, one drawn frame, and a laying queen marked and dated who was grafted and mated in my yards, not shipped up from a package producer in the deep south. Every nuc comes with the parent colony's most recent alcohol wash mite count written on the receipt. If that number does not satisfy you, do not buy the nuc. I would rather you asked. Bring your own box or buy one from me. If it is your first colony, call before you order and I will spend twenty minutes talking through equipment, siting and what April actually looks like. I will also tell you if I think you should take one instead of three, and I have talked people down from six. Ninety nucs a season, no more. Booking opens in December for the following April.
