Every animal we sell was born here, weaned here and finished here on native range and irrigated meadow. No grain, no implants, no cattle bought in from somewhere else and finished under our name. We harvest at a USDA inspected plant in Miles City, dry age 21 days, and you fill out your own cut sheet. We sell about 60 head a year. That is the number the grass supports and we are not going to pretend otherwise in a good year. October and February are the harvest dates. October fills first, usually by August. Pickup is at the plant in Miles City or at the ranch. For Billings customers we will meet in town on a Saturday if there are four or more orders on the same day. We do not ship frozen beef and we are not going to start, because the two times we tried it a box thawed in transit and I would rather sell less than sell that. If you have questions about how the cattle were raised, ask. Come see them if you want to, we are 22 miles out and the coffee is bad but it is hot.
